Back to School (again).

Last Sunday I attended my orientation day. I was excited, and scared at the same time.

I have a bad history of distance learning for a full time working women. I got so many things to juggle. I need the flexibility, time, pace and I want the course to be taught in English!

English is important to me , especially if I intend to work in MN companies.

I pledge myself I will complete this program. I must and I will. If I cant complete the program, I must be a doofus. No one can help me, except myself.

I will update more on my progress.

Note to myself : I will Complete this.!

Back to Hogwarts

The tickets was bought earlier than the release date of the movies. We watched it at T.GV O.U as G.SC sux this time. They said, they would only open the sales for the movie 2 days before the release date. Fuchekek says my hubbs.

Picture , just googled

I watched it last Friday, and what a way to start my weekend. I think the movie is more as a filler for the next one. (perhaps the book is more interesting) I know some reviewed the movie as so-so. I don't really care. Har.ry Por.ter movies transport me to another land. I forget about the real world and concentrated on this magical world.

Can't believe that I have been watching H.P movies for the past 10 years. I guess the next movie is the last installment of the book. Will be sad when there is no more H.P after that... but till then, I'll try to watch this again on DvD.

Errands.. Errands..

Finally, I took the time to head to Putrajaya. I loathe and dread to drive myself to the Government Offices in Putrajaya. I wouldn't have to go there at the first place, if I hadn't lost my SPM certificate.

Yup.! I lost my certificate. The day, I found out that I lost it I felt blur. What am I suppose to do? I lost it like 3 years ago! As I was about to start my studies soon, the university needed to see the 'ori' cert. So, they've ask me to get it from Putrajaya and so I made my journey there.

They also needed me to get a letter from my previous college to acknowledge that I graduate at that particular branch. This college has like gazillion branches all over the country. I thought to myself, crazy... I left that college like 7 years ago...

So, I went to my old college first. Damn, the place changed alot. I didnt even know where to park my car anymore. I had to park at the opposite road further in and walk to college. Nasib la pakai flats (which is what I usually wear anyway). Felt, uneasy walking past this young students. Mak dah tuo wei. Perut pun berlapis dengan lebihan lemak yang tak hilang lagi lepas bersalin. I didnt know why I'm still scared to talk to those admin staff in that college. Padahal, Im in a working force as well. They asked me to filled up their log book and state the purpose of letter, bla.bla.bla. and the letter will be ready in 3 days time.. Fine. I filled the log book and left straight.

Off I went to Putrajaya using the Bulatan Kg. Pandan / Putrajaya highway.

In Putrajaya another story, they are promoting park & ride thingy. By the time I found where the building was it was jammed!! Bolehs? I had to make another merry-go-round and try the park and ride thing. The place to park and ride is not that far from the government office if we drive, but to walk blardy menyusahkan diri. So, I went to the park & ride area... I heard in my head the sound of "crickets". You know, macam where got people there, how long Im suppose to wait for the bus? There was a lot of buses there, just I dont know their schedule. Don't tell me I have to wait for 20minutes for a bus to move to a building accross the road?? Tak boleh blahss...

I quickly scanned the government building area, and I saw a backdoor and access road to the buildings. This access road is nearby Ala.manda, so i decided to park at Ala.manda's parking area. There is some 'illegal parking area' near the backdoor. But I dont want to take any chances. Buat polis or what ever municipal come by and tow away my car. Buat naya je.

Surprisingly, the process to submit my application was a breeze. They've move the counter to the ground floor and not alot of people there too.(yes, not everyone is careless as me. *sigh*) As long I have the form filled ready and sufficient Postal Order Money. I was clear to submit. Yeay! Now I just have to wait for another 1 month and a half..............

After that, I had some time to killed before I head home. So,I stopped by at my University to pickup the study materials. I was amazed with the place, it felt cozy. I love the pre-materials prepared for us distance learners. I loike it alot.

And so, I went back home happy that I have covered all my errands. Can't wait to start my studies soon.

The morale of the story here, don't loose your SPM cert.

Around Bukit Bintang and Pudu

I was on leave on Wednesday. Took care of the errands I needed to do and was done by 1230pm. What I did? Will blog about it laters.

Called up hubbs and ask whats his lunch plans. He wanted to go to Low.Yatt (again??). Oh well, me being -i-need-to-eat-nice-food-where-shall-we-eat-mode. I suggested to him , "lets have lunch at nasi ayam chee meng!". We reach KL by 2pm, I was damn hungry by than.

Seriously, I havent tasted any Nasi Ayam better than this (perhaps the best are home cook by my mom). I havent been to this shop quite sometime (note : very long time), as I dont have much free time unlike some people I know. *wink* Heaven lah this Chicken Rice. I remembered 1 week before I was suppose to deliver my baby we went to KL straight after doctor's appointment and reach there by 730pm. I told myself I needed to eat Chicken Rice as I don't know when will my next Nasi Ayam Chee Meng will be.

Owh, 1 Roasted Chicken Rice is RM 6.50. + Barley Drinks RM 2.00. Drinks are quite pricey to my standards. Or is it because I ordered Barley Ice? Oh well, after lunch we headed straight to Low Yatt for my hubbys 'cuci mata' time. Hubbs has a online business you could check his sales blog here.

Selepas cuci mata, I got myself a bag of 100g Famous Amos. Its quite pricey now days. Sometimes I feel its not worth it to buy. A bag of Pecan Choc Chip cost about RM 7.00. 18 years ago, it cost about RM3.50 or RM 4.00 for a 100g bag. The cost to make homemade is higher but I will get more cookies! Still must compare, eat cookies everyday= grow more fat, eat 100g once in a blue moon = could maintain weight yang tak turun2. Hehehe. It has its own pros and cons.

Next we when to Pudu area. To be exact we went to Pudu Plaza! Where the heck is Pudu Plaza??? Its such an old school place. Pretty much very quiet and not the usual shopping mall you guys go too. Even I was not confident when my hubby brought me here the first time last month.

But here lies a Camera Specialty Shop. I sendiri segan to enter because my knowledge of Camera hardware or technical *zilch*. I just know how to snap a good picture when I see one. So, when you enter this shop you'll see alot of photography buffs in this shop. Owh, I'm sure they could detect a novice photographer *meek*

I love to see the shops camera collectibles. Its totally old school, I dare not to take pictures of it. Takut kena marah. This shop is so famous. Checkout the men browsing their window display. Men and gadgets. Could never be separated. You could google the shops name too. I think they have online store as well.

It was such a quality time for me to spent with hubby. But, the perks for us is , at the end of the day we head home to see our prince charming!

When the time comes....

Today, is the farewell of 4 colleagues from my workplace. Its quite sad that this has to happen to the company I work with. We are more like brothers and sisters that fight with each other every other day but yet we still have a blast with each others company. No doubt each of them that were leaving has their own unique character.

Farewell...don't forget us... The office will surely be not as colorful as before ... *sigh*
